ENGLISH: Is the praying really necessary?

I don't speak Sranan Tongo, but I understand that the "Wi Tata" and "Odi Mariya" sections are Christian praying. Are they really necessary? I mean, you don't have that on others languages articles and is also depreciating others religions as only talks about the Christianity and not of other religions.
